The beds are along either side of the sidewalk pictured here. Ruby Orach. Volunteered from the soil, which was carted in from an organic farmer in N. Portland back in '03. I got some of this soil at the same time and also got Ruby Orach, which I'm still growing from saved seeds. The original Sorrel patch, planted for CSA subscriber Josie in 2003. One of my two current patches was culled from this one.
